The Challenge

Such a world class venue requires unique and quality audio visual systems to support the expanding nature of performances the Hall was to host. Mozaix was privileged to be selected to supply & install a 20,000 ANSI Lumen Barco Projector with a custom mounting system.

Our Solution

Mozaix was privileged to be selected to supply & install a 20,000 ANSI Lumen Barco Projector with a custom mounting system.

We also supplied the Exterity IPTV system for the Back of House areas at Hamer Hall. This included the installation of multiple monitors ranging in size from 19” to 40” to facilitate camera images and free to air channels to various offices and dressing rooms.

Project Features

Projection

Mozaix was privileged to be selected to supply & install a 20,000 ANSI Lumen Barco FLM20 Projector. This was installed on a large custom projector lifter built to support the weight of a 2nd Barco projector if double stacking was required. Various lenses were supplied to enable images up to 10.7m wide at the back of stage 47m from the projector.

Monitors

We also supplied the Exterity IPTV system for the Back of House areas at Hamer Hall. This included the installation of multiple monitors ranging in size from 19” to 40” to facilitate camera images and free to air channels to various offices and dressing rooms.

Server

An exterity server was installed to manage the over 70 IPTV devices on the network over all theatres. Mozaix continues to maintain the complete IPTV system through maintenance agreements and ad hoc service.

Production Trolleys

A unique challenge was proposed when the Arts Centre Melbourne requested Mozaix to develop two production trolleys that house a mixing console, wireless microphone receivers, a CD player, space for a small PA, stands and cables. The trolleys were to be well presented with a stylish black gloss finish for special events held in the public spaces before and after events.
